Friday book # 38: Lenin’s Embalmers

When the Soviet Union collapsed, many assumed that Lenin’s body would be removed from the mausoleum on Red Square. Twenty five years later, it is still there. This week’s book tells the story of the people responsible for preserving the body in order to keep it looking good for public display.
